2015 Give Back Project - February

This is February....PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE......

There can be a lot of negativity that surrounds teenage pregnancy from others and our goal is to give these girls a day where they can forget about the negativity and focus on the positive.

I am a true believer in the saying "Things happen for a reason"........

These girls can do anything that they put their minds to and be great mothers along the way.........

Our hope is........ even if for a moment............that these girls feel beautiful.....and that they can look back on this moment as a positive memory.....

I wish all of these girls nothing but health and happiness......

Make-up is done by All dolled up with no place to go....xo....big shout out to you for your help with this project!!

MY NAME IS SIOBHAN......PLEASE HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD

This is my moment to give back to you and to tell your stories ………

Not all pregnancies are planned, in fact, most of them are not.  Being pregnant can be scary, and even more so for a teenager. 

Being a teenager and finding out that you’re pregnant is a shock, not something you ever believed could happen to you, it happens to others, right?!?

I know firsthand what being a teenage mother is like…….I was one and wouldn’t change anything for the world…… and when I look back at the scary thoughts I had of becoming a mother at such a young age, I realized, I never took the opportunity to capture, cherish and embrace all the beauty, magical moments and memories that come with being pregnant and motherhood.

We are women, we can grow another human being inside of us…a tiny life…a moment that should be captured despite our age.

I am a photographer and my colleague is a make-up artist, and we have teamed up together to give something back, back to a moment in time that should be treasured nonetheless.

Our goal, is to provide professional photography and make-up for teen mothers who want nothing more, than to preserve a memory for a life time.

We will be offering a free session a month throughout the year to give back…..if you know of someone who is a teen mom expecting and would like to pass on my information, please have them contact me at memoriescaptured@telus.net. With Teen Mom written in the subject line and your age.

Not to discriminate against anyone but my cut-off age will be 21.  Thank you for your time is reading this venture that I have set out to do….

Bring your best smile forward.....

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Jen and her two boys.....having young boys always means a busy session of exploring and going with the flow.....Mr. J told me yesterday that he brought his best school smile for me and wanted to know what I thought...kids say the cutest things...... believe me his smile will melt your heart and you can't help but smile back.....

Weathering the storm with V and Mr. T

We tried  to outdo the weather but the weather was no match for us....the wind nearly knocked us down, threw dirt in out eyes and then the dark gloomy clouds made there way in......so we decided to take a break till the Monday night and let the weather work itself out....but I enjoyed my session with these two and here are some sneak peeks...

Thanksgiving.....2013 and I have much to be thankful for......

This picture is very special to me and has been over the years....there are 4 generations of girls.....

I love my family were loud, corky, full of life and love each other with no judgment...
