Day 195 - A Different Perspective

This is my new lense...the fish eye (a fun lense) and what a different perspective it gives you on things....It is going to take a while to get used to, it has a wide wide angel...but here are some shots that I thought that I would share.

I truly can't wait to take this lense downtown Edmonton where there is so much dimension, height and such!

We started a tradition years ago....that my children get to open one present under the tree on Christmas Eve....no they don't get to pick just any one...they get special pjs every year to wear Christmas Morning....

Day 184 - 187

First off...wow...where have the days gone...it is so hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner...counting the days....

So the baking has begun...since I am unable to eat Nuts and Bolts....I decided to make my own BOLTS...and yummy!

I had a visitor on Saturday who brought me a wonderful box of chocolates...can you say Hello Baby Blues...so cute......T. is just 4 months old.

Essentials for Baking as we ladies decided to get together and bake all day....we had a fantastic time...made a variety of goodies....had some good giggles and enjoyed each others company....Now that is what you call a "Girls Night Out"....lol

Now I took this photo and then played with it a little bit in photoshop....trying to incorporate everything that I have learned..........taaaaaaaaaaaaaaadaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh here is the result...not bad??.....

Day 182 + 183 + Macro Friday

I have been away from the blog world for a while now.....just entering here and there...I apologize but things have been crazy busy around my house...I have also been taking the Skinny Mini ECourse for Photoshop and posting my homework....if you get the opportunity to take it....I highly recommend it.........

I was outside playing with exposure time with all the street lights on around us...this picture give off such a soft hue of orange from the street lights  but stirs up mixed feelings, calm, eerie, etc...thought I would share.

So Happy Friday Everyone...and tis the Season.....

We spent the evening tonight making a gingerbread house and my guys did such a fantastic Job, there is not a spec that isn't covered in Candy......lol.....

Photoshop Skinny Mini ECourse homework......

Black and White Conversion....I got a little ahead of myself today and accidently deleted the original................but here is the black and white image.....I even duplicate it and deleted that one too...trying to be to organized...lol

It was a Snow Day here as the roads were a mess due to the tremendous amounts of snow we are gettin, I am ready to say, "We have enough, ".................we have shovelled our driveway twice today and you can't tell.....
